A scientist by training but a writer at heart, science writing embodies the perfect blend of two of my passions. I embarked on this career after discovering the hard way--by attending graduate school--that learning about science and doing science are vastly different endeavors. Preferring the former to the latter, I became a freelance science writer so that I can still learn about science while also sharing my newfound knowledge with others.
With expertise in molecular and cellular biology, I specialize in medical and health-related science writing. However, I have written extensively on other science topics including ecology and geology. Always inspired by a challenge and the opportunity to expand the breadth of my knowledge, I welcome freelance projects in all science disciplines.
